Brad Garfield
Brad's background in television is unique and diverse as he has directed everything from the News at all Networks to Charlie Rose at PBS, Sports at CBS and NBC, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for CBS for 4 years and has won two National Emmy’s for his work on the Olympics in Atlanta and Australia for NBC Sports. He has worked on such shows as Sesame Street and The Chris Rock Show and has also directed and produced for CNBC, WNBC,  Fox, CBS, WPIX and CSTV (College Sports TV).
He produces and directs for major corporations (CitiGroup) schools (The Westchester School District) and numerous non-profits such as Kids For World Health and The Westchester Children's Museum.  Brad is currently (2010) directing his 3rd year of The National Discussion and Debate Series for PBS/MacNeil-Lehrer Newshour. A new endeavor he has been doing over the last year is consulting and Media Training for Douglas Gould and Company, a communications company that helps progressive not-for-profit organizations and foundations.  Through them he recently produced, directed, filmed and edited 2 PSA’s for The State of Pennsylvania and The WIC Program and also a series of 6 Profiles entitled, "Pathways to Opportunity" for D. Gould, which was funded by The Ford Foundation. These profiles consisted of interviews he filmed in Seattle, Denver and Albuquerque. Here's the link to the profiles:

BRAD GARFIELD BIO

A versatile, 2-Time Emmy Award Winning Director, Brad is also a producer, writer, videographer and editor. 

After graduating with a degree in Theatre Arts, he started in film with “Dance on Fire,” a one-hour music video with the surviving members of The Doors.  He transitioned to television with the then, new NBC soap opera, Santa Barbara.  Brad has directed theatre in Los Angeles and in New York. He joined the directing staff at PBS/WNET in New York working with such notables as Robert MacNeil, Bill Moyers, Fred Friendly, Paul Newman, Christopher Reeves, Paul Simon, Charlie Rose and Vaclav Havel. He directed The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for CBS for 4 years and won two National Emmy’s for his work on the Olympics in Atlanta and Australia for NBC Sports. He has worked on such shows as Sesame Street and The Chris Rock Show and has also directed and produced for CNBC, WNBC,  Fox, CBS, WPIX and CSTV (College Sports TV). Brad continues to direct projects for WABC, PBS, CBS Sports and Citigroup.
